DLTZ3-600 Type (High Power) Electromagnetic power-off Actuator (Bolt Release)

I. Uses


This series of electromagnetic power-off brakes are electromagnetic engagement when energized and friction braking when de-energized. It is mainly used in conjunction with the Y series motors to generate a new type of YEJ series electromagnetic brake three-phase asynchronous motor. It is widely used in machinery such as metallurgy, construction, chemical industry, food, machine tools, and packaging to achieve rapid stopping and accurate positioning. It can be used in situations such as safe (anti-danger) braking in case of power failure.


Ii. Characteristics


This type of brake features a compact structure, easy installation, wide applicability, low noise, high working frequency, sensitive action and reliable braking. It is an ideal automatic actuator in industrial modernization.


Iii. Working Principle and Installation and Maintenance


The electromagnetic power-off brake is mainly composed of the excitation part (yoke 1, coil 2, spring 3, armature 4), brake disc 8, spline 9 sets and other major components. The excitation part is installed on the base through the installation screw 7. After adjusting the air gap to the specified value δ by screwing in the installation screw 7, the hollow bolt 6 is unscrewed in the reverse direction to tighten the excitation part. The flower pin sleeve 9 is connected to the transmission shaft through a key. The brake disc 8 engages with the spline sleeve 9 through splines. When coil 2 is de-energized, under the action of spring 3, the brake disc 8 generates friction with the armature 4 and the end face 10 of the machine base (or the brake plate 11), which is transmitted to the drive shaft through the spline sleeve 9 to brake the shaft. When coil 2 is energized, under the action of electromagnetic force, the armature 4 is attracted to the yoke 1, causing the brake disc 8 to release and the braking of the transmission shaft to be released. When power is cut off during equipment maintenance, the braking can be released through the release mechanism 5.


Before installation, the oil stains and debris on the surface of the friction pair should be thoroughly removed.
