Bladder grooves friction shaft

The friction ring is developed based on air expanding shaft. Air friction shaft is driven by air pressure, through rubber tubes expand so as to make body keys extended out to clamp and grip paper core for winding and unwinding. While this friction ring is made of several pieces of friction rings, through friction rings expanded out to grip papere core for working.
 

This friction rings can be made with 3" and 6" as needed, so friction shaft is also can be made with 3" and 6" accordingly. 

Friction shaft is made with three or more bladder grooves is achieved by means of oiled friction pads of natural felt, which transmit the pressure generated by the flat tubes in the bladder grooves in the shaft body to the inner diameter surfaces of the friction rings. This design allows for the delivery of the same pressure to the inner diameter of each friction ring, which compensates for the different web tensions on each friction ring and enables the manufacture of precisely wound reels. On this friction shaft a material can be wound simultaneously in different widths with at the same web tension.
 

This friction ring is popular applied for web material slitting winding and unwinding. It is suitable for different width of material, flexible and easy for operation. And each friction ring can be replaced independently as need.
